Can a decade be summed up in a word? What could have, what should have,
What you would have preferred;

How can you lose all not wanted over night,
A new date Doesn’t mean you instantly win the fight;

Maybe you won’t, maybe you will.
Life will make sure you get your fill;

Of the lessons you need, yet resist with might.
Yet these hurdles might allow you to see the light;

Go forth with wisdom and all that you know,
It’s not how you improve, but how you grow.
