Design your own range of Plantable Seed Cards with greeting card publisher Hannah Marchant

You will design your own collection if 6 seeded greetings cards, perfect to send to loved ones or just handy to have in the card drawer. The range of cards will be wildflower seed cards so the theme of the day will be florals throughout. Draw, paint, sketch, cut and stick from a range of beautiful flowers provided. Materials will be prepared for you to freely use but due to the nature of the seed paper we won’t be using anything too wet!

Hannah will be on hand to talk you through the world of greetings cards and answer any questions you might have.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll have a collection of 6 floral themed greetings cards and envelopes. All planting instructions will be already printed on the back of the card. This is your space to get creative and we hope you will enjoy the workshop!

Returning for 2022 is the highly anticipated Happy Place Festival following a huge success in 2019.

Described as the ‘Woodstock of Wellness’ by one of 2019’s guest speakers Russell Brand, each moment of Happy Place Festival will once more create fully immersive experiences involving everything from talks, workshops, meditation and yoga classes, to arts and crafts, massages and a variety of fitness classes and taster sessions.  Due to phenomenal demand, Happy Place will offer a broader range of classes, food and stalls available across the festivals from a large selection of independent health and wellbeing brands. 

There will be something for all the family to enjoy, with child-friendly activities such as hands-on Craft Workshops, Storytelling, Festival face painting and lots more. Children’s tickets available for those aged 5-16 years. 

Festival goers will get to hear enlightening talks and exclusive podcast recordings from festival curator Fearne Cotton, alongside special guest speakers with topics ranging from recovery and taking risks, to making life-changing decisions and body positivity, plus tips to transform the way you think, move and sleep. Special guest speakers will be announced soon.

How much are the additional classes and workshops?

What are the age restrictions for the classes and workshops?

The classes that are 16+ (under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult 18+) are the Energy Studio, Creative Workshops and Yoga & Stretch tepee.

The rest of the other tepees are 18+

What ticket types are available?

There are three types of tickets available to buy – day tickets, VIP tickets and Childrens’ tickets.

VIP tickets are available as either a morning VIP ticket or an afternoon VIP ticket.

Both options include a general admission day ticket to the festival plus the VIP package content.

Customers only need to purchase the AM or PM ticket, not both.

Happy Place is a full/one day experience, with two dates to choose from. There will be slight changes between the schedules for each day.

Accessible Booking

We provide a 2 for 1 ticket scheme to those individuals who cannot enjoy the festival without bringing a personal assistant/carer. There is a dedicated accessible ticket type available to book under the event/day you select here.

Please note that once you have booked your accessible ticket, you will be emailed with a proof of disability request.

The festival is open-air and mainly on grass and so if there is adverse weather leading up to the event then the ground may be soft and uneven.

What’s included in the general admission price?

Entry includes access to talks, shopping, and classes/activities at the Uplift Stage. There will also be food and drink available to buy and places to relax. There will be further classes and workshops that you can book at an additional cost.

What's included in the VIP Package?

What is included in the VIP package?

  • Exclusive VIP group session with Fearne Cotton including canapés and refreshments
  • Photo opportunity – Your chance to have your photograph taken with Fearne
  • Exclusive access to the Happy Place VIP area

When will I be able to book my add-on classes and workshops?

Classes will be available to book from 10am on Wednesday 15th June for VIP ticket holders, Thursday 16th June for Advance Standard ticket holders and Friday 17th June for all remaining ticket holders.

Please note that all classes are subject to availability, once they are fully booked no further tickets will be released.

Is there a limit to how many tickets can I buy?

There is a limit of four festival ticket purchases per customer to ensure there is fair capacity for everyone.

Can I attend both days?

The festival is specific to the day you have booked, with activities being the same across all days. There is something different you can get out of going more than once, but please note the offerings will be the same on each day.

Is the Festival indoors?

Whilst the festival is outside, a lot of the stages and stalls will be under cover within teepee/tent structures.

When are tickets on sale?

Tickets for both festivals will go on sale Friday 6th May

What time do gates open and close?

Gates will open at 9am and close at 6pm.

Are there any age restrictions?

Children’s tickets available for those aged between 5 and 16 years of age. Under fives may enter for free.

Please note: Children must be supervised at all times and there are no creche facilities available.

Can I bring my own food to the event?

No food can be brought into the festivals; all food must be purchased on site and the festivals are both vegetarian and vegan options.

I have a food allergy/specific requirements, what do I do?

Don’t worry! We have an array for cuisine available on the day. If you are worried your needs will not be met, you can bring along your own food.

Can I bring alcohol into the Festival?

No alcohol can be brought into the festivals. Customers are advised to bring empty reusable bottles which can be replenished at the water stations location on site. There will be other soft drinks to purchase at the festivals.

Can I park at the event?

There is no public parking Chiswick House and we would advise all visitors to use public transport where necessary.

Parking at Tatton Park is available at £8.00 per vehicle for the day.

Can I bring my dog to the festival?

Unfortunately no dogs are allowed into the festivals.

Can I smoke at the Festivals?

Both festivals are non-smoking.

Are there showers, changing facilities and/or bag storage?

Please note, there will be no changing facilities or showers on site for those taking part in classes. We don’t have any storage for your bags, these will need to be carried with you at all times throughout the festival.

As the majority of the festival will be taking place in the grounds of Chiswick House and Tatton Park we advise customers to wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
